Insert drool noise... so good. Just so good!

I am in love with these squares I found online and modified for my liking. Enjoy!

Makes: 16 squares

Prep Time: 10 mins

Chilling time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup crunchy peanut butter (can use other nut butters like almond)

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 2 cups of rolled oats (again can quinoa flakes)

  • 1 1/4 cups vanilla protein powder or natural protein powder

  • 20g of dark chocolate (I used no sugar chocolate)

Method:

  1. Grab a saucepan and put the peanut butter, milk and maple syrup in and heat until mixed and melted. Now I used the microwave and did 30 secs blasts and mixed. Your call. If its too thick, add a little bit of water to loosen.

  2. Line a 20cm baking tin with baking paper and add the mixture to the tin and smooth it out.

  3. Melt the chocolate in the microwave for about 30 to 60 seconds and stir until smooth.

  4. Grab a fork and drizzle the chocolate over the top of the slice

  5. Put the squares in the fridge for an hour until firm.

Notes:

  • Stores for one week in the fridge
